Yeah, it was pretty good. The dog joke didn't make any sense, but I still liked it.
I also like that Bender lives past Futurama by existing in Homer's basement...for at least as long as The Simpsons last.

Hey guys, I don't know much about Futurama. How many seasons, and what are the good seasons? You aren't even done with The Simpsons yet! Futurama has 6 seasons and 4 movies. The first 4 seasons are the ones that aired on Fox and the ones people care about. The 4 movies and last two seasons aired on Comedy Central and are a mixture of quality. Some good, some bad, some in the middle. It's 52 episodes in total so brace yourself for it. The Fox seasons are 72 episodes but you'll breeze through them since they're generally good. |

First three seasons* are brilliant, the fourth is hit and miss, but has some of the most beloved episodes. The show then takes a long hiatus and comes back with 4 pretty awful movies. Then after another break, four new awful seasons.
*when I speak of "seasons," I refer to production seasons (DVDs), not airing seasons.

Theres a few great episodes in the Comedy Central seasons, but not many. The Late Philip J Fry springs to mind.

I feel like Billy West, Katey Sagal, and John DiMaggio have to be on board. I could take or leave any of the other cast, but those are the main three in my mind. Otherwise it's kinda silly.

We went through these motions when Comedy Central picked up the series but said the every role would be recast. This is likely negotiation stunt. Doing more Futurama without DiMaggio would be absurd.
