Upgrade has great actions scenes, and considering its budget, it looks pretty fucking cool. Mission: Impossible is just better. I like both, but it's not really a contest.
But I think we can all agree that if there was one movie here that was worth voting for without having seen, it was Avengement.

Dark Knight Rises! Specifically because of the action. Infinity War has its moments, but the action is the traditional Marvel noise on a bigger scale. TDKR gives us at least two all-timers with the opening plane set-piece and Bane's brutal beatdown of Batman.

I'm with PG Cooper on this one. Infinity War's action is really fun and everything, but just amplied versions of what Marvel's given us before. The practicality, however, behind the set pieces in TDKR such as the plane sequence, the first round of Bane v. Batman and then the Battle for Gotham...not only are they spectacular action sequences, but you can feel the weight behind them. And coupled with Hans Zimmer's score, they kick ass.

I was tempted to vote for TDKR, but at the end of the day it's really just the plane scene and the Bane fight that stand out as great action movie fodder. Generally speaking I tend to prefer quality over quantity, but there is a point where quantity starts to matter and the simple fact is that a lot of the rest of the action in the movie is a touch flawed. The finale is good, but hardly a showstopping climax and some scenes like the fight that catwoman joins in on in the first act is just kind of clumsy. Couple that with some of the overall weaknesses of the film and I do think Infinity War edges it out just a little.

All I know is for a movie I was at first very dismissive of, I've come back to TDKR a lot since, and I still swept up in the spectacle of it all. It's rousing stuff. Infinity War is quite good, among Marvel's best, but they've never been exceptionally good at action. I suppose you could argue neither is Nolan, but his emphasis on practical effects and real sets and tons of extras gived a weight to the action that isn't really there in Avengers. And again, even if it's just one scene, Bane beating the shit out of Batman is one of the greatest (perhaps the greatest) use of action as storytelling in any superhero film.
