I watched this when it dropped and I enjoyed it. It's definitely a show that gets better as it goes along, and the dystopian city of the people they've shrunken down was a hilarious running arc. It's not Rick and Morty, but it's good stuff and will tide you over while waiting for season five. I liked it. |

It's not Rick and Morty, but it's good stuff and will tide you over while waiting for season five. It has potential to get better than Rick & Morty, the way American Dad eventually surpassed Family Guy. |

It has potential to get better than Rick & Morty, the way American Dad eventually surpassed Family Guy. I don't know, it certainly has the ability like Rick and Morty to do whatever the fuck it wants so it can stay fresh but it doesn't have the character dynamics that Rick and Morty does that sets it apart. I mean, who on this show is topping Jerry? |

Season 4 of Rick & Morty had some excellent episodes, but it also had some real stinkers. The show is showing it's age, which would be fine if this were a Fox series with 80-90 episodes, but it's an Adult Swim series that only produces 10 episodes per season. This would be the equivalent of The Simpsons or King of the Hill or Family Guy or Bob's Burger starting to age in season 2. Rick & Morty could be headed into FX's Archer territory and flaming out pretty early. Solar Opposite has the advantage that it hasn't done much world-building yet. It still has room to grow and go-off in various directions, the way that American Dad did. Justin Roiland could have this show maintain its quality for a few seasons. |

I like Solar opposites but Korvo sounds too much like Rick and its a bit distracting. Also I prefer the sub plot to the actual main story

I haven't felt like any of the episodes were bad. I caught up on them after the season was over and heard some mixed things, but I enjoyed every episode. Even the dragon one which has the lowest rating on IMDB I thought was funny. No, season four was not as strong as the first few seasons I agree there, but the show is hardly losing steam. I want a second season of Solar Opposites though. I want to see what they expand upon now that they've established the show and know where they want to take it. |
