That's the problem with making your best ep number 3... The diminishing returns are real moving forward. Bit of a set up episode but the last three have been very meh for me. It's a good show but it isn't great - outside that one episode. And if we lose Joel... And it's only Ellie... Color me skeptical it'll be an enjoyable watch. You didn't like the 5th episode? We were sort of due for a letdown, slower-paced episode after the fifth one so I was fine with what we got last night. And next week's episode centering on Ellie's time in the QZ feels like it'll be a great one. And I have a feeling we're not losing Joel. Not yet anyways. Hence why we're getting a flashback episode next, and in episode seven Joel will "wake up" Jon Snow style. |

That was another strong episode. Great way to do backstory right. As far as stop-gap episodes go, can't do them much better than that. |

I love this show. The finale was a natural point for a finale to be. Creates some moral complications for next season.

That was... Pretty good.
Once Joel got the gun though the tension was as almost all gone.
Still think they should increase the intensity next season. Little more fungal zombies please.

I would like to see more zombies as well. There were surprisingly a lot less than I thought there would be. After the first two episodes there's a significant drop-off aside from the barrage in Episode Five.
