Exquisitely shot and paced, and well acted to boot.
Highly recommend if you can get past the diversion from BAU detective stuff once it happens.
Ben Mendolssohn is fantastic in this.

I listened to the audio book last year on my commute to work and enjoyed it immensely. It felt like a return to form for Stephen King. I'll probably watch it after all episodes air.

Trying to decide if I want to read the book or watch the show first.

I think it probably would play better on a binge if that helps anyone.

Is it Stephen king supernatural or does it stay grounded? If it follows the book, there's definitely supernatural elements to it, but it's still more or less grounded. The problem with Stephen King novels, even after a fantastic tale, is that he always fucks up the endings. I don't believe that was the case with The Outsider. Pretty solid story, looking forward to the show.

Is it Stephen king supernatural or does it stay grounded? Supernatural is more or less known but unseen through 7 episodes so far. The mystery itself isn't the tension, but seeing how "boots-on-ground" types kind of refuse to believe the supernatural.
