 The Flame that lits the stake. These awards will be entirely based on my opinions, but I don't plan to have this being an entirely self-indulgent pursuit. I hope that each category will lead to discussion and that people will find themselves playing along and giving their opinions about these various categories. Without further ado: BEST FIGHT AVENGERS ASSEMBLE from AVENGERS: ENDGAME BATMAN VS JASON BOURNE from FORD VS FERRARI  LIBRARY BEATDOWN from JOHN WICK 3 BRAD PITT VS BRUCE LEE from ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD BEN SOLO VS KNIGHTS OF REN from STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER THE WINNER: AVENGERS: ENDGAME I can see certain people choosing Brad Pitt's beatdown of Bruce Lee (or the ending in that movie). Or perhaps any of the outlandish scenes in John Wick 3. But in a year in which both Game of Thrones and Star Wars disappointed the masses, you gotta give it up to the Avengers. Context matters. It was a memorable journey and a satisfying destination. It stuck to landing. Captain America with Thor's hammer. Avengers Assemble. Doomsday and his ladies. "I'm Iron Man." Admit it. You all left the theatre floor sticky. |

Thought the Anna part was the best part of the movie but still she was stilted and the quick cuts made her look more fluid than she was.
