It's getting pretty good early ratings. With only one rotten review so far (from comingsoon.net, funny enough), the film is currently sitting at 96%.

It used to be my favorite until it just became an extension of comic-con, talking about nothing but superheroes and video games. They still reported on general movie news and had interviews and reviews. It just got disheartening when it became obvious that Mirko favored the comment section over the message board. There must have been a 2 or 3 year period where the message board wasn't even promoted on the main site. |

I heard no such viewpoint when we created this forum. If we all wanted to band together and create something entirely new, it was never brought to the table. For your information, I had some tense discussions with Mirko in order to retain the name and association (which he did allow us to do, albeit probably against his better judgment since CS is not entirely his site anymore after Crave bought it out). I thought trying to allow us to stay united under the banner that brought us all together was important. And maybe we would retain new members if some people didn't like to alienate and accuse every single one that joins. So you took some personal offense to the forum closure of comingsoon.net did you? Poor baby. Get in line. It sucked for all of us. The site itself is still a good hub for movie news under one roof. I don't need to keep an eye on a dozen different sites to see what's going on. The exact same reason I ever used the site to begin with. And yes, let's damn all of comingsoon.net because one man has put out some view points that aren't of popular opinion. That's totally the goal I was going for. |
