I don't think I ever said the movie would bomb, I do remember saying it looked like shit.
And considering a lot of comedies released nowadays to warm reviews leave me cold ( ::cough::The Hangover::cough:: ), I still say the movie looks like shit.

Yeah, well, you were also shocked everybody liked Overlord.
So there seems to be a pattern developing here: Doomsday doesn't have faith in a movie he works on and then it ends up being well-liked.

Yeah, I kinda was shocked by that one. Keep in mind though I never saw it when it was released, only a very rough cut maybe 8 months prior to coming out. Maybe they polished it a lot more since I had seen it but man did they need a lot of polish. Free Guy on the other hand, truth be told it's not a bad movie. It's not great either but the concept is at least somewhat unique. If Ryan Reynolds humor is your thing you'll enjoy it. If not, well... |

Ryan Reynolds' brand of humor definitely appeals to me and frankly, this has always looked fun/funny from that perspective, so I'm all in on this.
