That just shows how great peak Simpsons is. There's a reason 60% of online communications is through Simpsons references.

I mean, I ended up enjoying The Simpsons Movie a lot more than I did South Park, so I'd be inclined to give the show a shot. The South Park movie is way closer to that show at it's best than The Simpsons Movie is to being that show at its best. Debatable

No. The Simpsons Movie is extremely mid. Has some amusing moments but it's not in the same league as the show at its best. Not even playing the same fucking sport. I’m talking about South Park. The movie came out during season 3. I can see the argument for the earliest seasons, but South Park peaked around seasons 10 & 11. That’s when the show still aired fan favorite episodes, but also became critically successful, winning awards, and still produced a full season of television. Compared to the Simpsons, South Park still makes good episodes, but Matt & Trey produce episodes whenever they want. I don’t think South Park has had a proper season of television in close to a decade. So the South Park and Simpsons movies, compared to where the shows were respectively, are a lot closer than what Dracula is implying. South Park continued to get better after the movie. Some of its more culturally relevant episodes came after the movie. Shit, Dracula’s favorite episode, Fishsticks, came out 10 years after the movie. While the Simpsons movie came out 10 years after Homer’s Enemy which is generally seen as the conclusion of peak Simpsons. Although you are even more generous, saying the show was peak level till season 10, which puts it 8 years before the movie. edit: So you gotta look at it in reverse. South Park movie came out 10 years before it peaked. Simpsons movie came out 8-10 years after it peaked. edit 2: They meet in the middle.

I've only seen the new one, I have yet to delve into the Swayze-verse. Speaking of which, are you gonna do a movie this round? You will not bamboozle me with The Wrong Guy!

are you gonna do a movie this round? This your way of telling me it’s November 20th? Cause I’m pretty sure November 1st was yesterday.
