Based on a short story, but yes, its lesser known folklore all around a small section of Mass.
Hunters gone missing, cessnas crashing, Native American leprechaun equivalents (Pukwudgies), and Native American "runways" - straight clearings where they'd chase deer into the open for some bow-and-arrow action.
