All shows are retconning after the crossover. Kind of expected that to begin with.

Considering that the entire purpose of the original Crisis was to retcon the DC Universe, this is to be expected.
As for additional guest stars, I’m sure Shaq would love to play Steel again. Some of the folks from Titans and Doom Patrol showing up wouldn’t surprise me. If Berlanti is feeling particularly ambitious, perhaps we’ll have an animated character. There’s a distinct lack of Wonder Woman so far, so maybe the SuperFriends Universe could provide one?

RIP Oliver Queen. Would have had more impact if a million things weren't happening simultaneously - but that's the nature of these things.

Yeah...but at the same time, it establishes that nobody's safe at any one moment.

Yeah...but at the same time, it establishes that nobody's safe at any one moment. Hour 2 was a lot better. More focused. And interesting decisions with Tom Welling and Kevin Conroy.

No surprise really, considering that we've known for a while this is Arrow's last season I mean, the show outright confirmed he was dying in Crisis at the end of last season. So there's that. The surprise came from it happening right away.

From what I'm told, the Crisis comics had characters dying multiple times, so we could see it happen again.

From what I'm told, the Crisis comics had characters dying multiple times, so we could see it happen again. There’s still episodes after the crossover. He’ll live. One of those episodes, 8.09, is the backdoor pilot about his daughter set in the future. The other is the finale.
Either he cheats death and is still alive in the finale or that episode is about the rest of the gang honoring him/preparing to carry on his legacy.
I'll say this, though: all season long, they've been hammering home over and over that he's gonna die. It could very well be a loophole based on Hour Two, but both Stephen Amell and Marc Guggenheim have wanted Oliver's journey to end with his death. So it could be we're getting the "proper" on-screen heroic death in either Hour Four or Five.

From what I'm told, the Crisis comics had characters dying multiple times, so we could see it happen again. From what I recall it was characters from the different worlds that died, not individuals dying more than one time. Supergirl and the Flash being the major two. Great miniseries, unfortunately after cleaning up the multiverse they messed with it again and had a Crisis 2

Last night part 3 was on The Flash, right? Well I saw that listed on OnDemand yesterday, so I figured I would watch it today, but the bastards took it off the listing so I have to wait even longer, dammit . EDIT - finally came back on the list this afternoon. Watching now.
Oooo Huntress cameo!

Next episode in January.
Don’t know what the point of waiting is. They didn’t necessarily end on a high note.
