I had a homemade deer costume with antlers and a tail and everything, and I also went as Zorro
Fortunately I don't have a picture of either costume, but the Zorro Costume was one of those cheesy kids things with a plastic mask and hat attached - the cool thing though was that it came with a cape and you could put a piece of chalk on the end of the sword and mark everyone's door with a "Z"
I only went trick or treating three times because I had a couple body casts when I was a kid at Halloween time

I was unaware of that. I'm not surprised though, because we set Christmas lights at the same time we set the Halloween stuff. They're going to start setting Christmas on FRIDAY! I went as a Mormon for a couple years. Granted I was in my mid-20s and the chicks at the bars loved it which is why I did it repeatedly. Not sure if that counts.

Ya know, looking at that Spider-Man costume picture again with fresh eyes, I'm no longer convinced that it's not a picture of me. I just grabbed it off the internet because it was a good pic of the costume I wore, but that looks just like my Grandparents house. Same ugly couch and matching curtains, the air freshener on the windowsill, hand cranks on the windows, and the fact that it's pouring rain outside the way it was the Halloween I spent at their house. Even the t-shirt worn underneath the costume appears to match my favorite shirt of that time.
