Vlade Divac "steps down" as GM for the Kings.
That's the polite way of saying fired. He should've lost his job the moment he drafted Marvin Bagley over Luka Doncic. So maddeningly stupid.

Bucks lost to the Magic. Didn't see that coming.
Will Lillard upset the Lakers? Some seem to think so. I am not one of them.

If bucks don't choke here it'll be later on so might as well make it obvious Giannis is leaving and cut out the questions.

Has that ever happened in the playoffs before, where both 8 seeds take game one?

Has that ever happened in the playoffs before, where both 8 seeds take game one? I don’t know that specific, but Golden State in 2007 is the only 8th seed to beat a 1st seed at the Playoffs.

In the seven game series.
Nuggets over sonics is much more memorable as they were down 0-2 and came back to beat the world beaters.

Blazers won game one with a lot of long jumpers and AD having an off night. Can't rely on either of those to be consistently happening.

SnoBorderZero thebtskinkIt looks like the Raptors and Celtics are gonna sweep their 1st rounds... meanwhile the Bucks are tied with the Magic. Lol. Also, if the Heat manage to sweep the Pacers, that means the 1st round will have three sweeps. Amazing how boring the East is. Also, how confident are we about the Bucks? At this point, I get the feeling that the Raptors will return to the Finals. Noteworthy considering they're doing it without Kawahi. I wouldn't mind Clippers-Raptors at the Finals. Would be entertaining from a "story" point of view. The ESPN 30-for-30 writes itself.

I'm kind of feeling like the Raptors will beat the Bucks as well. They're just such a good TEAM that makes up for lapses in overall talent. I'll take their chemistry over any team in the NBA, and we all know that's a big deal when it counts. Both Lakers and Clippers have shown inconsistency in the first round, but I still like the Clippers to come out of the west.
So yeah, I think your Clippers-Raptors prediction is spot on.

SnoBorderZeroR.I.P. Portland Heat, Celtics and Raptors are one game away from a sweep. Can't believe we're in Round 2 already. LOL. What you think of Bucks vs Heat and Celtics vs Raptors? thebtskink, are you invested at all?

I'm worried about the Hayward injury. I thought the Celts could pull a second round victory as a scrappy whatever, but Hayward going down worries me with his kid also on the way.
I think that the Heat is going to make the Bucks series 5-6 games, but ultimately the Bucks are going to win. That's if the Bucks don't crap it like they crapped it in game 1 against the Magic.

Also, Paul George is playing like shit. Maybe the Clippers WON'T make the finals.

Luka's performance yesterday has me big time rooting for a Dallas upset.
And also further furious that Vlade Divac passed over him to take Marvin Bagley. HOW DO YOU MAKE THAT DECISION!?!?!?

Luka's performance yesterday has me big time rooting for a Dallas upset. If they beat the Clippers, they better beat the Lakers too. No half measures. Lakers aren't a good matchup for them, but it all sort of comes down to how effective Porzingis is. Also, if Paul George was playing halfway decent this series would be over. But, he isn't, because he's a choke artist when it matters.
