Little Mermaid's gonna be interesting. I'm okay with the casting, but I DO know some people who are flipping their shit over the Ariel change. But these remakes are safe bets by default. Everybody thought Aladdin would be the first of these to bomb and now it's in the billion dollar club. Not to mention the most successful movie of Will Smith's career.

Granted it's not a remake, but Dumbo still performed better than Through the Looking Glass. Dumbo bombed because it had to be a fresh take. A straight up rehash wasn't an option.
