The last hour of this movie is going to be playing in all of our living rooms every couple of weeks it’s a giant spectacle of visuals lol. No. The end battle was standard fare, fan service and Doomsday 's beloved gender politics. The heart of this movie was the character moments. Also, the end battle was definitely not an hour long. 20-30 minutes max. There was a whole other section afterwards and it was far superior to the battle. You keep hyping the least interesting part of the movie. From the moment they go back in time to the end. is about an hour bud. |

Watched it a second time. Great crowd, possibly the best I’ve experienced since Spider-Man 2002. You know, back when they made shitty superhero movies according to SnoBorderZero. But as reactionary as people were, it was dead silence during Doomsday’s favorite scene. I almost burst out laughing. Marvel, good luck with your future millennial-pandering movies. |

Infinity War had an end battle with more meat on its bone. |

I think I get finally what you were getting at Neverending . The reason I guess the battle works so well is because we've kind of grown to love these characters over the course of 10 years and 22 movies. A lot is at stake, even with all the action being thrown at the screen. It's not just a big spectacle like Transformers movies. It's all of these main Avengers getting a proper heroic ending. And it succeeds so we.. A lot of us will go back to this movie, for the final arc of a lot of these characters |

I just got back from seeing it. I quite liked it. It's a lot to absorb, so I don't have much to say about it. I was surprised to see Jarvis from the Agent Carter TV series and a grown up Harley from Iron Man 3 get cameos. It's a shame that Phil didn't make it in, but he's still dead as far as the theatrical arm of the MCU is concerned. The return of Robert Redford, Rene Russo and Natalie Portman were unexpected as well. I look forward to discovering what sort of mischief Loki gets into, now that there's an alternate timeline out there where Loki is free and has the Tesseract. |

As far as we know, Coulson's dead on the TV front too. He went to Tahiti to die peacefully from whatever the Ghost Rider demon did to him at the end of season five. Clark Gregg is back as a new character who looks like Coulson in season six, but so far Coulson's return is unconfirmed.
Seeing Jarvis though was a treat for me. Loved the Agent Carter TV series, and it's the closest link between Marvel movies and TV thus far, other than Coulson and Sif. |
