Like all great writers they sure did tell us a whole lot and showed us dick all.
I'm excited for it and enjoyed the finale but man that was dense as they tried to explain the villain. Glad we've got him starting though. Wonder if the MCU will defeat a couple of his variants before running into the big bad.

Overall, I really liked this. Some, uh, missteps like Episode 3 and the stuff with Sylvie felt kind of rushed at times but I'm very intrigued with how it ended. Like Wandavision, this was the MCU flexing their "weird muscles" a bit and I got a kick out of that.

Yeah. Pretty good series, awful finale. They should have shaved half of that exposition nonsense and attached it to the end of Episode 5. Instead we got Harry Potter Part 7: Part 3: Voldemort Explains Himself And Leaves.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a great introduction to this character and I can't wait to see where they're going with him (them).
And this is easily my favorite MCU series so far.

Okay screw it, I'm giving my review. Everyone seems to be in love with this thing so I've been holding in my thoughts because I don't want to rain on their parades. But I'm going to vent here. I can't take it anymore.
This show sucks. Its the worst thing the MCU has done by a mile. The idea of multiple dimensions is very hard to pull off, because unlimited possibilities means that nothing matters. And it really feels like nothing matters here. I don't understand how multiple versions of Loki makes sense without them all looking like Loki. Anyways...
There are two major problems with this show. The first is that it looked and sounded like garbage. This reminded me of all those CW superhero shows, not something made by the biggest modern film franchise. The actress who played the female loki in particular was a sup-par actor. She may work on the Vampire Diaries, but not here. The dialogue also feels very CW.
The other major issue is that its simply boooooooring. Again, a big part of this is that investment is hard due to lack of stakes, but there is also a major writing issue of "tell, don't show", or "tell and then show and then tell us what you showed". The biggest offenders were the third episode (yawwwwn) and the finale, which was oddly just a bunch of exposition. And not interesting exposition. I also thought the final overarching villain was a huge letdown, and if he's supposed to be showing up as the main villain in the series as a whole now, that worries me.
I don't understand why people liked this, I really don't. Its far worse than Dark World, than IM2, than Captain Marvel. Its way, way below those.

Things didn't matter in Sliders not because of multiple dimensions of infinite possibilities. Things didn't matter in Sliders because the people running it stopped giving a shit about it.
Loki was fine, it was just all over the place and I found it a little tiring.
