Now that's an art form, making movies like Scarface so that the whole family can enjoy them.

It would be sort of a fun job. I fondly remember seeing Die Hard: With a Vengeance on TV and hearing Bruce Willis yell "MELON FARMER!"

The best part is how they didn't even try to match Bruce Willis' voice there.

One of the local radio shows here has hosts that used to live in Atlanta, with a wife that worked for Turner doing the censoring.
Apparently John Ritter's floppy ballbag hangs out of his shorts in Three's Company. Aired for decades.

With the older AVClub writers worth a damn all being forced out, and awful writers like William Hughes, Sam Barsanti, and Tatiana Tenreyo are all still employed, guess it's time for me to find a new entertainment news outlet.

Apparently I'm better at something than Barry Jenkins.
I hereby announce my retirement, undefeated, from the sport of comparing my achievements to Barry Jenkins.

Favorite starting words? I always use "adieu," but I'm thinking the vowel focus is hurting me.

It sucks, but you really do get used to it after a while and do reach a point where you stop thinking about it. Luckily, most days I can easily ignore it. There have been a handful of days, however, that it has been so bad that it kept me up at night. I guess I just need to learn how to cope with those days.

The trick to dealing with it at night is generally to doze off while listening to music or a podcast.
