With all the "trunk or treats" going on (at the zoo, at shopping centers, trick or treating at the mall, etc.), it seems like no one actually takes their kids around the neighborhood anymore. Yup. Plus, there's a lot of Halloween fairs and min-theme-parks and elaborate haunted houses. Trick-or-treating isn't that big of a deal anymore.

I only get like 40 trick or treaters. That's it. What with all the "trunk or treats" going on (at the zoo, at shopping centers, trick or treating at the mall, etc.), it seems like no one actually takes their kids around the neighborhood anymore. When I was a kid, sure, getting a lot of candy was the goal, but half the fun was hanging out with friends, walking around the neighborhood, and showing of my costume to the neighbors. Now, kids just seem to be shuttled through a crowded cattle call where you can't tell one kid from another just to get the whole thing over as quickly as possible. We usually take our kids around our neighborhood. We usually keep it pretty short (because we don't want them to have too much candy, we'll just wind up eating it). But it does seem like a lot of people don't do that anymore. I'm more annoyed with the teens that come around for candy but don't have a costume on. Next year I'm putting out a sign, "No Costume, No Candy." |

Couple kids didn't have any costumes, the one though said he was dressed as a "white DJ". I gave him two pieces.

I have this question would the world be a better place without News as it is today. Was times better when news traveled slowly compared to news cameras being everywhere even in the lives of celebrities like they are. Should there be safe laws for people to have peace. This not including natural disasters or war coverage. But what i call pest news.
