When I think back to the first Space Jam, which is a movie I haven't seen in like 20 years, I think of vibrant colors and a lot of energy. I look at that trailer and it looks dull and muted with no enthusiasm from anyone involved.
Even if Space Jam sucks (which it does), I don't really see much improvement here.

Space Jam is an original. This is just ripping off Doomsday’s Ready Player One. I wasn’t sure how to interpret this until I saw Iron Giant AND King Kong in the trailer. They should have had a scene with Lebron in the Overlook to really sell it. |

The big freedia song is literally one verse and then freedia just yells "we goin looney!' for like 2.5 minutes.
Low energy soundtrack.
