I never had any problem with Cavill as Superman, but I can understand why he might not want to be associated with the character anymore. This isn't such a bad thing for WB anymore, either. Their DCCU has been mismanaged from the very beginning. It's time to go in another direction with the character, and doing that with the same actor is problematic.

Warner brothers responded that there "no decisions have been made" regarding the future of Superman. Check out Cavill's video response as to whether he is done as Superman on the internet.

Terrible. There's already an obvious choice. They can also cast Allison Mack as the villain, have Clark investigate an underground sex-cult/trafficking ring. The story writes itself!  |

There is a rumor that DC wants Kit Harrington as the new Batman. Who wants a 5'8" Batman? They can find new actors. Meant to comment on this one earlier. I just finished a 'Game of Thrones' rewatch the other day and Kit's height was distracting in the last few episodes when he was around a lot of taller actors. Even Iain Glen, Jorah Mormont, is like 6'1 and he towered over Kit. The last thing I think of when I think of Batman is the word "diminutive." You'd honestly have to either put lifts in his shoes or get really creative with the camera angles. |

It shouldn’t be too hard with a stuntman though, and that’s a lot of the full body shots at least
