I share the love on Speed. That flick is da bomb.
On the subject of Bad Boys, I think those two films and The Rock are the only legitimate Michael Bay movies. Outside of those he refuses to water down his nastier insticts for PG-13 filmmaking even when he's making a fucking family oriented toy commercial. With his early R-rated stuff he actually feels at home.
Maybe Pain & Gain also. But even still...holy fuck that movie.

My favorite part is after Dennis Hopper shoots into the roof of the train he runs out of the car to hunt down Keanu and while he's running he's just shouting 'AAAAAAHHHHH!' Total Hopper hammy goodness.

Bad Boys II is essentially the work of a master troll. I think Bay intentionally made it to torture his critics, the fact that it's two and a half hours long is not a coincidence. He's fully aware of how tasteless it is and he's basically shoving it in the audience's face.
