I’m gonna be “live blogging” the Tommy Jarvis trilogy.
Don’t expect anything special.

That whole opening with the doctor & nurse trying to have sex next to Jason’s “dead body” is hilarious.
I also love they didn’t even bother to explain how Jason came back to life - he just is. lol.

Part 5 is the one with most substance. I love PTSD Tommy Jarvis. I love the “new Jason.” I love the wacky characters. Part 4 is the better Friday the 13th movie , but as a slasher film in general, Part 5 is among the best.

Part 6. The conclusion of the Tommy Jarvis trilogy.
This is the fan favorite.
It’s more of a comedy, so a good one to watch before heading to bed. I wouldn’t want to get any daymares!

Part 5 stinks, it's completely pointless.
Part 6 is the best in the series. Only one that truly embraces the "camp" (tee hee) of it all.

Halloween III sucks, but it's better than A New Beginning.
A lot of people would agree with you and say Part IV is the best of the bunch, but for me Part VI is the only one that pokes fun at itself successfully. It also has nice elements, like that there's actually kids at camp for once, some clever humor, and pits Jason against an actual adversary.
