Pels get 4 and a buncha youngins from the Lakers. Could do 3 and Knicks entire future but the young kids on Lakers much better than Knicks youngins so I'd push for Lakers trade. No chance Davis wants to stay. And I think Zion plumps out with those beignets. |

I'm very happy the Pelicans landed Zion, and I say that as a non-Pelicans fan. Everyone, including moron sports pundit Stephen A. Smith, is whining about how unfair this is, as if the Knicks and Lakers aren't at a significant financial advantage over New Orleans and Memphis. They keep whining that they deserved the pick. They deserve no reward for being the consistently worst run franchise in the sport. Good for a small market team landing the biggest draft pick since LeBron.

I'm at the point in which most of these games are on in the background. If Kyrie and Kwahi do end up leaving their teams, I hope it ain't with LeBron. We don't need that shit either. Go to the Clippers or get the Rockets in shape. Hopefully Anthony Davis sticks around with the Pelicans and he and Zion Williams get that team competitive. This league needs a shake up in 2020.

I mean from a purely watching standpoint the dubs are so much more fun to watch without kd. They don't iso as much, they move without the ball much more often.
I really wanted McCollum for that final shot last night but dubs wanted Dame. They got what they wanted.
Here's hoping the east can compete.

They will destroy you in Game 7.
