Used to always jump on the bandwagon for the vast majority of Marvel films. Have to admit, I have almost zero interest in the new slate of phase 4 films. I used to click and read all articles I could about Marvel film rumors, filming, interviews, etc and now it's so boring to me. I'm not daft to think this is going to suck for everyone, it's just the focus more on fantasy and space is not interesting to me. Shang-Chi and Eternals, for example.

Which is weird cuz I mean... I love space. Maybe the movies will hit different for me.

Watching this trailer... not to say it looks bad, because the tone of it seems intriguing, but it does make me lament earlier superhero movies for one major aspect. Powers. Earlier, superhero powers were very distinct. Spiderman shot webs from his arms. Wolverine healed and had metal claws. Iceman makes ice. Nightcrawler teleports. Mr. Fantastic stretches. This allowed for a lot of creativity with working around using those powers in those specific ways.

Nowadays, most of the superheros seem to have very nondescript powers. They all seem to be able to shoot things from their arms, fly around, never get hurt, and can make crap fly around at will, or form things out of thin air. All too powerful, all too general.
