Quentyn is almost universally reviled. Connington has some good moments, but the action around him can drag on, like with many other plot lines.
Honestly there's about 4 POV characters that we haven't seen yet in the show and I'm not sure if we will.

I'm reluctant to tell you any more of you want to read the books. You might like them, I like a portion of them and I know the constant shitting on the books by some of my other friends ruined some of my enjoyment.

I've read the books many times and my point is that I disagree and don't take it for granted that they are bad POV's. I for one was very interested to see their side's of the story.

Book question: no spoilers please - but is the Mountain's current situation as Frankenstein's monster a thread from the book or something the showrunners have thrown in?

Yeah but really did we expect the mountain to die so easily. Any death thats assumed in GOT is likely not true death for this show shows death up close and in your face. I think they should leave the Scene out with the mad north dude stuff. If Hound, Mountain, Benjen or Syrio Forel return I rather it be a surprise

It's also more subtle in the book than in the show, as with Lady Olenna and Littlefinger killing Joffrey

Also book wise no way would Littlefinger allow his temple Sansa to be touched by Ramsey before he could deflower Sansa

Well this episode certainly made up for the slowness so far. Hopefully that is not the end of the action. Could be one hell of a way to end this season.

I bet Dracula hated tonight's episode. Game of Thrones put another nail in the coffin for cinema. Can you imagine if The Hobbit movies were as good as Game of Thrones at its best? You can't because Hollywood has no respect for audiences anymore. Television is where integrity went.

Episode was pretty good, but the foul taste of the season still lingers in my mouth. I've been rooting for Dany/Tyrion since the second season or so, and everyone looks at me funny, but look where we are now. Boomshakalaka.
The White Walkers seem unstoppable. Maybe the show follows Martin's lead and everyone just dies, and the show ends with a White Walker on the throne.

So Valerian steel and Dragon Glass can kill the White Walkers. That means Brienne, Jon, and King Tommlin are equipped to kill them, anyone else have Valerian steel?

Hmmm good point Duke, though not too many people running around with that type of equipment. Doesn't Jamie have a Valerian sword as well?
But wow, what an episode last night. It's going to be incredible to see how these last two episodes play out. We can't say winter is coming anymore, it's already here.

Nope, he gave his to Brienne when she left to find Sansa, that and her new armor.

I dont think its a mistake that Jorah father would have such a weapon he was a lord commander and likely knows what kills them or maybe only a targ wielding a V sword can kill a walker. Or maybe the fact Jon is part Stark.

Having never read the books I am going to assume Valerian steel must be made using dragon fire or something.

Great episode. Hopefully we get three strong ones to end the season. And I couldn't imagine we wouldn't.

That's an interesting thought, actually. For one of the higher class characters to run into a white walker. Someday. Someday...

Sansa has hope in her eyes and I think Ramsey has no idea the true fury of a stark. Especially a female Stark. Her wolf may be dead but Sansa could be a caged wolf and some day she will get loose. After all what did Hound say his her was a Killer.
