I'm certainly happy about seeing the shows end and I'm with deex to a certain extent that I don't think we will ever see an end to the books, but some of these storylines are very clearly wishful thinking and not that of the original writers intent.

I'm gonna go ahead and bet that no dragons survive this last war.
