I'm looking forward to the season finale. Cersei is either going to take it as a real threat or have some type of ambush planned for everybody. The Night King revealed his Blue Eyes White Dragon card and ended his turn.

That's what I was figuring. That she would fake an alliance to be able to turn on them when most convenient. It seems clear that was/is her plan, but I would think it would be for a decent amount of time before anything significant happens. Unless, of course, she thinks the meet-and-greet that's going to be occurring in the finale is advantage enough to do it right then and there. Which, who knows, maybe the sight of Tyrion pushes her over the edge?

Liked the episode, but man, really disappointed with what they did with Littlefinger. It's like they ran out of ideas for how to use him three seasons ago and only now realized that and got around to killing him off.

That would be cool but... It won't happen. That prophecy is one that is guaranteed. Everything else has come true, her brother must kill her. It has been foretold.
And I don't think the targy romance will end... Why would it? The targs always kept it in house as it were, why change now?
Certainly must make Tyrion nervous though... He's hoping for a democracy when it's all said and done, not a line of succession, and the targs are always about succession.
But I'd like to see Aegon (are they and now us going to call him that now? Kind of annoys me) say that he will employ a nights watch type democracy across the lands. Well more of a republica because... Let's face it can't trust the plebs to vote.

Turning Westeros into a democracy doesn't seem very realistic. A more attainable goal would be to simply destroy the iron thrown and allow the various houses to rule themselves in something akin to the modern nation-state system. |
