I was satisfied with just all the character moments, but then that last 20 minutes. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

Was that really 20 minutes? Felt like 5.

Ah, that tingly feeling, how I've missed it.

Remember when the smoke monster on Lost seemed like an impressive piece of TV production value... oh the times we live in.

Someone get a screenshot of the side view of Drogon taking out the wagons.

I liked Davos calling back Stannis's grammar.

I liked Bran quoting Littlefinger to his face. Might have been the first time he was taken aback.

But Jamie's not dead though, right? I mean if he is what was the point of him getting saved from being burned up? Why not just...burn him up?

It seems kind of pointless that they would end it the way that they did, if he was. Someone get a screenshot of the side view of Drogon taking out the wagons. Sadly none of the frames have a particularly clear shot of the dragon (right click > view image):

Presumably, but getting out of water from that depth while in full armor and only one arm is not going to be easy. I don't know how they're going to get him out of that jam.

I assume it's because of the battle overall and not the thing in my spoilers.

I feel like you'd have to be made of stone to not get a little crazy in response to that battle.

It was great, but the show chickened out for the first time. No one big died.

The new ep has leaked. Sweet holy christ on a bike was my initial reaction. Having slept on it, I can confirm that that reaction still stands.

The 7 year tease finally pays off with a bang! Wow thank you GoT for making "The Hobbit" scenes look like kids play compared to this, and also on a TV Budget nonethe less!
Anyways here's the thing that was bugging me on last night's episode.
Tyrion must have known the Lannister army would form a line to hold off the Dothraki charge. Why not have Drogon come in from the side to fry the entire line in one shot rather than zip zagging up and down? Similarly, once Dany saw the Qyburn scorpion, she really should have just have Drogon come from above and crush the damn thing with his claws from directly above. With a cheat this big, I feel like they're holding back on optimal battle strategies.

Firstly, it's not 100% clear how easy it is to control that dragon or how well she can see the battlefield. Odds are it's not so easy to hit every target you want to hit with laser precision, especially if you want to avoid friendly fire.

Game of thrones Stuntmen are insane! What's even crazier is. the fact that these guys had to hold their breath the entire time they were rolling around and flailing while on fire is really what makes this impressive to me. Much props to these guys... wow

If he does nothing but kick some ass, I suppose it's nothing more than fan service. Still, it's nice to see Gendry back finally.

Plus he would probably be head of a newly reconstituted House Barratheon if Dany wins.
