It ran up some 30% yoy though. Pullback was expected since it was almost purely based on speculation.

It's funny how much Dark Phoenix keeps getting shit on for being the main culprit of Fox's losses this quarter. That movie just keeps taking punches.

That's because no one remembers Stuber. Already.

That's because no one remembers Stuber. Already. No kidding. It’s already out of theatres, meanwhile, you can still watch Avengers: Endgame.

Yikes, that shows what state their film division was in.

Makes a certain amount of sense, I suppose. No point in giving the remaining pieces of Fox free advertising. As long as they're still open for business, I'm okay with it. If Disney is going to expand their market presence the way they want to, they're going to have to maintain a production/distribution arm to make R-rated films, and a prestige arm for Oscar bait. The fact that Disney bothered to rename them is another clear indicator that they're going to stick around.

No word on the TV side of things, though. If it is a situation where they're wanting to simply separate themselves, it'll be interesting to see how they manage the rebranding for "FOX" or all the "FX" branded networks.
