I've decided to start referring to The Child as Yaigoro, since he is clearly the Star Wars analog of Daigoro from Lone Wolf and Cub. For those who may be unfamiliar, Lone Wolf and Cub is about a samurai and his infant son who travel the land as a sword for hire, while also constantly facing off against the warriors the Shogun is repeatedly sending to kill them.   |

I watched all of Lone Wolf and Cub when I started on it. It's awesome, the entire series is on Criterion Channel and well worth the watch.

In a surprisingly quick turnaround, Mandalorian Season 2 is due for an October release. Although maybe not that surprising, when you think about it, if the second season is as short as the first.

When I looked at the season 2 directors list neither Mangold nor Rodriguez were on it. Things could have changed since then but there were some other high profile names on there so I’d be surprised if there was a lot of shifting around.
