A question for you all. What do you think should be done with incomplete answers? If Still #3 is from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and in Round One RedVader sends me a PM that says, "3. The Crystal Skull" or "3. Indy 4" should I go ahead and grant him 1 point, and dock him the half point bonus for answering in Round One? If I receive the answer in Round Two, should I only grant the half point? Should I give full points for the corresponding round, despite the incomplete answer? Should I stick to the letter of the rules and only count answers that are correct in every way? I'm torn, personally. On the one hand, it seems clear that if a player provides such an answer that they know the movie and have answered it as they see fit. On the other, I also get answers from players which are perfect, and it seems unfair to give them the same number of points as someone who is providing a half-assed answer. Anyway, back to the game. They shouldn't get anything. They need to specify that it is either The Two Towers or the second Lord of the Rings, something to indicate they know for a fact which movie in the franchise it is from (not that it is simply from the franchise as a whole). If the question is whether or not you should dock points because people aren't writing out answers completely, even if you know they know the answer (ie the point of the game), then that's starting to get a bit anal. If the answer is Lord of the Rings The Two Towers, you should not be docking points because they chose to write "LOTR:TTT". Do they know what movie the still is from, or don't they? If you can't tell from their answer, you give them no points. If you can, you give them the full point.

Yeah, I very often shorten up my answers(I have a feeling I'm the one you are referring to) , and hosts have never had a problem with it before if they know what the movie is.

Yeah, I very often shorten up my answers(I have a feeling I'm the one you are referring to) , and hosts have never had a problem with it before if they know what the movie is. It's not just you. There are several people who do this to varying extremes.

I just dont recall return of the jedi having a fuzzy weird beak animal in a cell scene. Besides the bird alien in Jabbas Palace. And Age of Ultron looked more like you would have seen those pics in some horror movie.
