 We must all grow up, PG Cooper. You can keep the spirit of your boyhood inside you, but the range won't be wide. Superbad isn't my teen movie. I was already in my 20's when this shit came out. I loved McLovin and the cops and thought everything else had its moments. I related more to Knocked Up. That's where I was in my life at the time. As an old man in his 30's, Superbad doesn't hold up particularly well. There ARE hilarious moments. I laughed way more than I should have. But those are just moments. As a whole, it doesn't do much for me. The story is dumb. The characters are dumb. But so were you in 2007. Own it. Donald Trump might blow up the world. Adulthood is a scary place. If sitting back and reliving 2007 through Superbad keeps that boyhood flame alive then so be it. Just remember. Juno is the better movie. |

Alright Doomsday and DraculaMovies dumb. Jack Nicholson's character is inconsistent. If he really played all angles he wouldn't be so careless. Vera Farmiga's character wasn't really necessary. Microprocessors? Really? That... awful ending. That said, movies fun. Great premise. Actors having fun. Marty enjoying himself. It's entertaining. |
