This movie had a really small crew. The end credits are like 30 seconds long. Compare that to Doomsday and Ready Player One. How many folks worked on that? To quote Mr. Plinkett, “it’s like the Vietnam Memorial.” |

Anyway, Jaws is two movies stitched into one. A really good coronavirus movie and a great story of three idiots trying to kill a shark. Happy 45th.

This is the first scene in which the score kicks in — which just happens to coincide with the first scene in which they got the mechanical shark to work. Isn't it featured when the boy on the raft is eaten? Right after the dog disappears? |

I’ve pointed this out before. There’s very little John Williams music in this movie. This is the first scene in which the score kicks in — which just happens to coincide with the first scene in which they got the mechanical shark to work. Isn't it featured when the boy on the raft is eaten? Right after the dog disappears? You hear the Jaws motif throughout the movie, but the first time you hear a proper musical track is during the barrel scene. I don’t think John Williams wrote more than 10-minutes of music for this movie — and he won a fucking Oscar for it. lol. That’s why I argued with PhantomKnight & PG Cooper than Eiger Sanction is the better John Williams score from 1975. lol. |
