Man if I were 14 watching Mulholland Drive for the first time I would have loved it. Not for anything having to do with the movie itself but primarily for a couple scenes I would have watched several times. But yeah I didn't watch that until I was 18 or 19 and didn't dig it at all. It's been on my 'rewatch before I die list' but I'll get around to it again sooner or later.

I dunno about Chaplin. RDJ has a great performance but I don't think the movie holds up all that well these days, it's pretty corny and melodramatic in more than a few parts and also seems to skim by a lot of his major works. Granted it would be tough to really hone in on Modern Times, City Lights, The Gold Rush, The Great Dictator and others along with his personal life in the span of 2 hours but if you're looking for something that goes deep into Chaplin this probably isn't it.
