Idk dude, given the lifespan of young Jedis, kid might have been safer with Mando. I mean, yes, there's a non-zero chance this means he gets killed by Kylo Ren eventually, but hindsight is 20/20. That's still many years away. Kylo's not even born yet.

How did he get famous with that voice of his? Because fascist millennials found him more relatable than Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly and didn't have many other options at their disposal.

The veneer of "facts and logic" the dude clings to (even if he doesn't actually espouse their values) also makes his brand of garbage seem a lot more respectable.

Emily Blunt and Jim from the Office don’t believe in safe sex. 2. You’re gonna have a baby and risk it getting eaten by an alien? Your boy Benny might be on to something.

Your boy Benny might be on to something. comingsoon.boards.net/thread/2201/quiet-review-threadIt’s funny that everyone’s main complaint is about the scientist’s incompetence, but having a baby in the middle of an alien invasion isn’t practical either. It’s one thing if the Emily Blunt character was already pregnant when all hell broke loose. But no, the movie goes out of its way to emphasize that this was a decision made by the characters. So I don’t know, Coop, there might be some merit to this argument.

I think the movie is more about trying to figure out how to go about your lives in the midst of ongoing catastrophe. Its about survivalism.

They already had two other kids, plus the one that got killed the beginning of the movie. Do you really need another kid? Seems kind of selfish. You got two other kids that need your attention. Plus, Jim from the Office had to die at the end cause of these bad decisions. PG Cooper would have a point if the movie looked down on the characters, but it’s the opposite. They’re our heroes.

You say this like they had a choice in the matter. They didn't have access to safe abortion and all the condoms were probably looted already, they were at the mercy of Jim from The Office's pullout abilities which were apparently lacking.

I'll tell you one thing right now, apocalypse or no apocalypse there's no way in hell I'm pulling out of Emily Blunt. You can quote me on that.

All of this is skirting around the issue that it's a miracle the baby was conceived at all, considering how overly sensitive to sound the creatures are. You can stay as low key as you want, but I've lived in enough apartments to know that there is no such thing as quiet sex.
So did they fuck at the waterfall and leave their kids unattended or did the kids watch, replacing a verbal "birds and the bees" discussion?
And you can't convince me Emily Blunt isn't a screamer.

Its a threat that is not going away. Think about it there was no possible vaccine for COVID to wait for. We'd have to eventually go on with our lives while trying to adapt to the new situation. That's what's happening in the movie.

Not buying it. As before deduced, Emily Blunt is a screamer.
The sequel needs a massive plot hole filling flashback sex scene or the movie is shit.
