My big mistake when i tried this before was I did 300 movies which was by far too many and it ended up really bad and I lost interest in it but now i decided too do a 200 movie list and focus more on my favorites and not worry so much about what people liked and didnt. Just for the record since this is a list starting May 13th 2017 I only will use movies done or releases since Friday May 5th 2017. So No films will i use no matter what I like. I hope too get this list done by November so can do my 2017 TOP 20 Films of The Year annual post plan. Just so you know there could be movie spoliers in my reviews of each film i post. In this 200 List The First 100 will likely be allot of films i grew up watching that are more dear too my heart and the last 90 will be movies that really look like more of a list you would see on a best movies list. Spoilers Ahead In my movie bios of each film. So this is a warning for any film listed that no one may have not scene but may want too. Redvaders Top 200 Favorite Movies List 2017 edition.
200 Enemy Mine
Not too sure what year this was released but think its an 80s sci fi movie. But I do remember that Louis Gossett Jr Plays an Alien but the male race of there people give birth and some time during the movie the human ends up taking care of his son. Both were enemies when the movie began but by movies end the human character fullfills his promise too his once dying enemy. Anyways its a pretty good movie but probably not good too many. Because its an older sci fi movie. Its what some people call a dated movie which is movies were effects or make up dont hold up. I really dont care about a film if it looks a bit rusty just because its an older sci fi movie. In the new age of crisp computer effects and I do have those movies on the list. But I do have more movies that the new kids would call 80s classics which is funny too me 80s movies are considered old when classics too me was movies of the 40s 50s and 60s.

199 The Negotiator
This movie came out in the mid to late 90s I think. It was one of those movies you would see on TNT or TBS or USA network on the weekend or at night. I would never for some reason finish the movie for id either watch the middle or the opening scene and then id go do something else. So when I started buying VHS tapes when started getting into movies. I bought the Negotiator, Shanghai Noon and The Fugative I think for 3 dollars a piece on the cheap rack and finally watched the whole movie. There have been better movies but I really like the story and the ending was done really well. I like movies not knowing the ending or plots you dont see coming. Today you see a trailer and you know most movies. I kinda missed the older days when movies like these happened and you had too watch the whole movie too see what happened.

198 The Devils Advocate
Some might say this should be higher on the list but i think its about ok where I have it. I mean there are better Pacino and Keanu movies . But i will say that its one of the better movies about God the devil and free will. While I like Al as the devil in this. I still think best Devil in a movie is Gabriel Byrne in the End Of Days. This movie is a very dark movie and makes you skeptical of big law firms. My favorite part is that you think Keanus character has one but as the movie ends your left with the Devil seemingly going too plan B to maybe try again but there never was a sequel and not every movie needs one really.

197 Quantum Of Solace---007 Bond Film
This is the first bond movie too hit the list and to let you know I only have 5 Bond films total in my list. I really liked the first 3 Daniel Craig Bond movies and I know this movie fallowed Casino Royale so it had its job cut out for it too just not ruin the momentum for the new Bond Reboot. Now we are near the new question will Craig be back as Bond or will we need too reboot the character with a new actor again. Personally my Favorite Bond is Brosnan but my Favorite Movie is Goldfinger with Connery.

196 Bram Stokers Dracula
I know the film looks a bit dated compared too now how vampire movies and CGI effects are done but this is my favorite Dracula adaptation from The Novel. Oldman and Hopkins really make the movie watchible. The only really negative i had with the movie was Ryder and Reeves performances in the movie just fell a bit flat. But Hopkins and Oldman make the movie a classic for me.

195 Men Of Honor
I really liked this movie and while im not a big war movie person i am a person who likes good military stories which for me i have 6 i think pretty good military stories in the list. I think Cuba Gooding Jr was fantastic in this movie about a man who doesnt give up doing a job in the military for his country even when he loses his leg. Deniro is perfect as a his character in the movie.

194 Hocus Pocus
This is one of me and my sisters favorite Halloween time movies. Its kinda like a persons annual Christmas movie The Santa Clause or Christmas Carol type movies but its the Halloween holiday version. If its not this movie we sometimes at Halloween watch Casper or American Werewolf In London. Most seem too like Horror movies at halloween but me personally I like Halloween storied movies or traditional Monster type movies around halloween. Its no oscar contender this movie but Hocus Pocus is a fun little film about 3 evil dumb witches and a Virgin who causes them to return too life.

193 Reign Of Fire.
One of the best Dragon movies ever made. Its very rare you get many really good post apocolyptic films and its even rare when you add a world ravaged by Dragons. This ofcourse sounds like a Sci Fi made for tv film. But the movie stars two of the biggest names in film today. I think the dragon effects were really good and sadly much more believable then Smaug in The Hobbit. They didnt speak and why would they since we were the food.

192 Weird Science
While I did prefer the USA tv series by the same name but you cannot deny the original classic film about two geeks who create there dream women. Only in the movies does this happen and thats the beauty of original movies of the 80s where we got several ideas despite modest budgets and limited effects.

190 Ghostbusters 2 Starring Bill Murry, Harold Ramis ,Dan Akyroyd and Ernie Hudson.
Easily one of my favorite movies as a kid and I was shocked the hate this movie got then and now by reviewers and it was called the worst GB film till 2016 Girlsbusters came out ofcourse. Anyways I Still Like the movie overall but am ok will it being kinda low really cause 1 is still the best Ghostbusters film.

188 Behind Enemy Lines
I liked this movie and was more or less surprised Owen could do a serious role In a movie. I really dont like when movies like theses get cheap really bad attempt at sequels when the original movie did not need one. Sometimes i am good with a movie being a solo effort.

186 Sling Blade I will confess the last time I have seen this movie was probably over 20 years ago. I remember trying to do Billy Bobs impression and for some reason i could do just as movies changed from high to what it now is. Its a good movie but kinda depressing and i tend too watch more escape movies then film that could have likely happened. I remember John Ritter was good in the movie as well. And so wasnt country singer Dwight Yoakam.

185 The Hobbit Loved this movie as a kid. I cant tell you how many times as a youth i seen this or Charlottes Web. Even with the Peter Jacksons prequel films I still think the Rankin and Bass film is still my prefered adaptation. Even though Tolkien purists kinda hate the cartoon movie. Only problem is we as fans of this movie cannot get a good version of this on DVD Or vidoe do too some fool messing up the original adaptation and towards the end of the DVD and Video release they messed up the music and sound of the movie towards then end. I still love the movie but the original release made on TV in the 80s.

There's gotta be more than 188 movies better than Daredevil. There are thousands of movies better than Daredevil, but this is RedVader. To each their own, as long as I don't have to watch them. I love Enemy Mine, but it wouldn't make my Top 200.

One cant always please everyone. Daredevil is not as bad as people complain about it. Least thats my opinion and I like sci fi movies. So allot of my favorite are in that genre and there will be some good films critics liked maybe.

183 Cold Mountain
Jude Law is underrated as an actor and should be in more films then just Guy Ritchie films these days. While I liked this movie fine there are other oscar liked films i liked more so the movie ended up here. I really liked Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellwegger in this movie. Sorry if dont get Renee's last name spelled right.

So allot of my favorite are in that genre and there will be some good films critics liked maybe. The playground fight alone is unforgivably absurd. Whoever wrote that scene completely failed to understand the traditional conflict dynamic that occurs whenever two superheroes first encounter one another. If it weren't for this scene, the Director's Cut of Daredevil would be a pretty good superhero movie for it's time. As it is, I would recommend watching the theatrical cut of Daredevil to any director who's helming a superhero movie for the first time as an instruction on what NOT to do.

Ill likely have these movie head scratchers as why this or that is on the list. I may have lot of classic good well loved films and then there a B movie in the next slot and then you say what wrong with him. Maybe the docter banged my head on a table coming out and i have a brain skip like on a CD.
