Of course they are great artists....20 years ago....but I do not need to see sagging old men wobble across the stage singing songs I got tired of over a decade ago.

Willing to bet she lip syncs though or uses one of those vocal back tracks.

I'd be content with no performer, to be honest. There isn't a single act out there right now that really strikes me as being right for an NFL halftime show. I generally don't watch anyway.

Just put in a middle school talent show. Same result.

The Halftime Show, like the Super Bowl now in general, is not catered to people who actually watch sports but are watching the Superbowl because everyone else is. I mean I don't think there's too many Raiders fans with Bruno Mars on their iPods, but I could be wrong. The Superbowl is annoying because everything in the game takes forever with the extended commercial breaks and overly done everything to the point where it's like can we get back to the damn game now? Katy Perry will appease the little girls stuck at the party their parents are throwing who don't watch the game but want to see every commercial. Sad, sad, sad.

Every time Peyton shows up in a Papa Johns commercial I change the channel.

Yeah the commercials have even been really lackluster.  There's maybe two that are solid, the rest are all just "look how much money we pumped into this, we have celebrities endorsing our product!" and are completely uninspired.  The Doritos "Time Machine" commercial was the only one I remember enjoying, and so that coupled with a lopsided game and Bruno Mars for halftime made it one of the worst in recent memory.  Fails all around!

It amazes me that Katy Perry wasn't part of the massive celebrity nudes scandal. Either she has never taken a naked photo, which is super hard to believe, or she's REALLY good at protecting that stuff.
