Is it just me or was that trailer really bad?

Hey, look, something Neverending and I can agree on: we're both really looking forward to this movie.

I'm looking forward to it. I just hope it doesn't suck or there will be some kinda twist ending where it's all in their heads.
As far as trailers go, I always feel like I'm in the minority. Aquaman's trailer is getting mass praise and I think it looks absolutely awful.

I'm looking forward to it. I just hope it doesn't suck or there will be some kinda twist ending where it's all in their heads. In the end it's all in Mel Gibson's head. It ends with it all being his delusion as he is in a padded cell screaming "WATER! YOU KILL THEM WITH WATER! IT'S WAS MODERN DAY THE WHOLE TIME!" Then he whispers... "He was dead...the whole time he was dead..." Fade to black. Then suddenly we hear "FUCKING JEWS!"

I actually re-watched Unbreakable last month, and man does that thing hold up. Split...I liked it overall, but I'm hoping he can lean more into the style of Unbreakable here and also get away from some of the clunky dialogue in Split.

Showed a little too much for my liking. If any of you care at all, I'd say just wait at this point. January is practically around the corner.

Agreed. Also seems a little smaller than i was hoping, though they may be setting up for a more epic sequel?

Even after Split I highly doubt anybody will be giving Shyamalon a larger budget anytime soon.

Reviews are very lackluster. Doesn't seem like anyone loves it. Couple people just shrugged their shoulders and those were the banner reviews.

It turna out that McAvoy's father was on the train that Jackson sabotaged in Unbreakable, which caused his mother to get abusive with him and result in his multiple personalities. McAvoy kills Jackson with a bearhug of death and he and Willis fight, only to have an Illuminati organization devoted to killing people with superpowers (like the ones in Jumper, I guess) bust in, gun down McAvoy and drown Willis (because his kryptonite is water if you remember...for reasons). Taylor-Joy leaks a tape that exposes that supers exist, defeating the secret agent guys.

I got to see Glass early, at the Alamo's Shyamalanathon triple feature. It was okay. I suspect I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't already been sitting in a theater for more than four hours before it started. James McAvoy was particularly good, giving us a broader glimpse into the various personalities of his character. SLJ is great as always. Bruce Willis isn't phoning it in, but David Dunn was never a particularly interesting character to begin with. His son's character was actually more interesting, acting as his Guy In The Chair. If you're wanting to go to the movies and check out something new, it's worth a look. If you liked Unbreakable and Split, you'll like Glass as well. If you remember the first two movies well, and are the sort of movie-goer who pays attention to details, all of the various "twist" endings are pretty obvious.
