It would be interesting to see which direction they go in. Old canon or new.
Regardless, it would be nice to see a Trek series again after the disappointment of Enterprise.

There'll be one eventually.

There'll be one eventually. Not on regular television. All the Star Trek spin-offs were either on syndication or the UPN network. Neither one of those exists anymore. If there was a new Star Trek series, it would probably be on Netflix.

I could see the CW. They could trot out Voyager again and it'd be better than half of the tripe on that network.

Mehh... I feel Netflix would be perfect because it has a less chance of getting cancelled

They need a new take though. Deep Space Nine worked because it was continuous arcs, and lots of space politics. Voyager failed because it was a low rent version of every story already told better before in TNG.
Give me a story from the perspective of an alien race where the Federation is either marginally involved or the villains.

I will say that the Year Of Hell episode of Voyager was tremendous though.

The Storyline for Voyager was interesting... Getting Lost in Space and having to find a way home was fun! Even if it wasn't perfect.

It was all rehashed shit we have seen before though. It was well executed no question, but almost every major theme and story line was done better in other iterations.

Is that the fastforwarded planet one? Yeah it was, and it's one of the reasons I started watching all the Star Trek. As a 7th grader my mind was completely blown.

If they did a new series, it will be closer to the retcon from the last two movies. This I don't want.

The streaming will fail miserably, and they'll put it TV as a last ditch effort to save it.

Thebtskink is right, no one has CBS online, and no ones getting it over torrenting.
