The B and N sale also extends to Arrow releases. Well, in that case...

The B and N sale also extends to Arrow releases. Nice, it's easily the best CW show.

As an Arrow fan, though, the last two seasons were just woof.

I'm definitely getting Arsenic and Old Lace. Sound of Metal and Malcolm X will depend on my mood.

Just got Sound of Metal, and will most likely get Power of the Dog as well.

Got most of what I needed during the flash sale, so my B&N pickup will probably just be Power of the Dog.

The positive of a new Criterion announcement not offering me much to get excited about is that it gives me time to catch up on the dozens of quality Blu-Rays they've already put out that I do want.

Mangrove and Lover's Rock worth the Small Axe release by themselves.

Before trilogy 30% off until Monday... Does that one also get the 50% off when they do their sales? I'd be interested in that one. Maybe not for 70 bucks. But 50 has a shot.

Yeah I grabbed it for 50 clams a couple years ago during a 50% off sale. They usually have a flash sale on their website sometime in February I believe. Barnes and Noble one isn't until July.

Pretty much anything that's in print gets the 50% of discount in the B&N sales and flash sales, they don't really make any exceptions. Even the really big boxed sets get the discount.

It's quite funny that people have been clamoring for Paper Moon for a while and they decide to release a different Bogdanovich film. Well played, CC.

It's weird that whenever you express Criterion disappointment some randos jump on your ass to defend the company's honour. Like, Criterion's not gonna fuck you, dude. That said I am pretty jazzed about Targets.

That said I am pretty jazzed about Targets. I hardly go on Facebook these days (does anyone?) but whenever I see Criterion post their announcements on FB there are still people who post 'THIS IS THE BEST MONTH EVER!! THELMA AND LOUISE IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME I'VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER!' Every month without fail.
