Sigh. I really want to see more of Huntress and Canary. But Harley jumping up and down in front of the camera going "I highjacked a Birds of Prey movie!" for entire trailers at a time is really irritating.

The fight scenes look great though. Obv I'm gonna see this. Hoping Ewan is the one going full crazy. Agreed on her voice though it doesn't sound natural. Need to fix that.

Review embargo lifts on Wednesday. Social media embargo lifted last week, to supposedly very good word of mouth. Considering Batman V Superman had good word of mouth from social media prior to its review embargo lifting, it's hard to gauge.

The reviews are a bit more telling though. Lots of 3/5s and whatnot.
I think this looks pretty bad and will absolutely be skipping it. Two hours of nonstop obnoxious characters doing obnoxious things all in this pseudo-meta tone. Nooooo thank you.

The San Francisco Chronicle review was pretty funny and damning. Gave it a whopping 0/4 stars.
But the average rating being a 7/10 is fairly solid so far (only 65 reviews). I've definitely not been enthused at all after the trailers, but maybe I'll pop into a theater this weekend to check it out.
