It was a great game. The US looked like they actually cared this time around. Flying around the pitch, playing aggressively, winning balls. They could've had a fifth goal, maybe even a sixth. |

Great game. Liverpool and Man City have surprised everybody in the Euro tournaments; English football needed the boost after half a decade of lacklustre performances.

Deexan What are your thoughts on Leicester City's rise to the top? Mahrez and Vardy have been spectacular. Incredible. Kante in the centre of the park has also been instrumental, as well as their captain, Morgan (insert Rum pun), and Schmeichel in nets. Considering they barely escaped relagation last season, to win the title, and by what's set to be a decent margin, is unbelievable. They were 5,000/1 to win at the start of the season. Some people about to get a whole lot richer. The fairytale victory isn't quite as it seems though, as they've had a billionaire owner backing them for a few years, but they've still achieved the seemingly impossible. The question is, can they a) keep hold of their title-winning squad and b) make enough of the right kind of signings to bolster their squad for their appearance in the Champions League? Personally, I'm happy that none of United's rivals will be getting their hands on the trophy! Can't stand Vardy, mind. Awful, awful human being. Then again, if he helps England win the Euros this summer I may warm to him. Maybe. |

Mahrez has said that he has no interest in going anywhere and I doubt Vardy will be jumping ship any time soon. Ranieri has really turned the team around but I don't really see them doing much damage on a European stage. There are just too many tough opponents. Then again, Italian coaches are typically some of the best at working with what they have.
I've only heard a little of Vardy's antics to know that he seems like a dickhead. Calling some Asian guy a "Jap" seems to say a lot about his thuggish mentality. Wasn't he also banned recently? He'll be out against United I believe.

Yeah, Vardy has made a few public faux pas of that nature, which has made it difficult for neutrals to be pleased for him.
They finally did it, though! Incredible. The Chelsea v Spurs game decided it. It was a feisty one.
I'm loving how tight it is in la liga for the last few games. Hopefully it'll come down to some last day drama.

I'm happy for them. Totally deserve it. Ranieri is like everyones favorite Italian grandpa. It was a little difficult for me to support Chelsea in that game as I really, really dislike them. But whatever.
It will. Barça have an advantage since they're not in the Champions League anymore, sorta reducing the stress a little bit, but they've been off-and-on recently. On another note, tomorrow should be exciting with Bayern and Atlético. I'd like to see Atlético go through.

Well, they did it. I wanted an Atletico win, too. Not much of a fan of Bayern.
Now for Madrid to crush Man City... I'm expecting at least 2 Ronaldo goals.
