A spinoff that's going to focus on Tom, his mother (played by Famke Jansen) and Solomon -- a recurring Blacklist-er from Season 3 -- heading up a black-ops team as they go hunting for other Blacklist-ers and search for answers about Tom's past. First season is going to be eight episodes and air in The Blacklist's spot as it goes on a little hiatus until April. |

What we know for sure: Red is somebody who underwent extensive plastic surgery to become Raymond Reddington in order to gain access to all the resources the real Reddington had amassed before his death and use those to create a criminal empire to use as a way to protect Liz, the daughter of the real Reddington. Briefly, we thought this Faux Red was a former lover of Liz's mom, herself a Russian spy, but that was disproved rather quickly. So the question now isn't so much, "Is he her father?", but rather, "Who the hell is he, period?"
Trust me, that's the most basic way to sum it up at this point lol.
