Thanks for your responses, guys. I genuinely expected a comical Doomsday response, but when it didn't come I was quietly pleased. This thread is more important than my usual wasted shtick...this carries genuine weight. I'm looking forward to seeing what Neverending , Doomsday , Dracula , Frizzo the Clown have to submit. Deexan, I know you said only one scene, but god help me, I'm a cheater and an asshole.
I don't think I need to say much about this scene; it's probably the most famous moment in Blade Runner. The tears of rain speech is excellent, I love the atmosphere, the cinematography, and the music. Beyond that, I'm a real sucker for characters realizing their own mortality and this scene is an excellent example of just that, with Roy facing his own death while also choosing to spare someone else. Powerful stuff.
Unforgettable climax, with some great acting and memorable dialogue. There's something about this scene which is really cathartic and exhilarating.
