I dunno. About the same. At least the Quantum scene got my heart pumping. Better or worse than this:

After three movies that took the traditional Bond formula and either ignored it or played around with it, it's back to tradition with Spectre, and after the awesome success that was Skyfall, Spectre is...good.
What's almost immediately obvious about it once you start watching the movie is that returning director Sam Mendes has decided to more fully embrace the tropes of the franchise this time around, but at the same time, still try to retain some of the stylistic and tonal touches that made the previous film so great. It's a mixture that's...interesting, to say the least, and not always in the movie's favor. Honestly, if Spectre has one main problem, it's that it can never seem to decide whether it wants to be a traditional Bond movie or a Daniel Craig Bond movie. There are a few times when each of those tones are at odds with each other, almost as if Mendes was trying to appease to the traditionalists upset over the previous three entries while also trying to keep fans of the more serious Craig era onboard. Spectre really could've benefitted from Mendes and the screenwriters deciding on and fully committing to what kind of movie they wanted to make. Because of that sort of tonal imbalance, it took me a while to get into the story. Also, the film doesn't really have the kind of story to support a near 2 1/2 hour running time this time around.
The movie itself is still entertaining and interesting, however, and I have to say that this is one of the better uses of Bond formula I've seen from the franchise -- keep in mind that I've never been big on that formula to begin with. There are a number of good scenes throughout, and while none of it ever wowed me like Skyfall did, I can't deny I enjoyed myself. Daniel Craig is still ice-cool in the role, and even he embraces a few Bond-isms in terms of the character personality that a lot of fans enjoy. Lea Seydoux is a pretty good Bond girl, and Dave Bautista makes for a nicely imposing Bond henchman. Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw return as M and Q, respectively, and each do solid work. This brings us to Christoph Waltz as the villain. Of course, Waltz makes the most of his screentime and is fun to watch, but the script underutilizes him perhaps a bit TOO much, and there's always the feeling of potential for more whenever we see him. One thing Spectre does that I have to admire is that it attempts t tie together the events of all the previous Craig outings in a nice, neat bow...but at the same time, it feels a bit thin.
Like most, my thoughts on Spectre are kind of all over the place, but when I take a step back and weigh both the positives and negatives, I still have to say this was a pretty good use of Bond formula as well as a solid-enough, enjoyable movie. I think that's primarily due to the efforts of Mendes and co., but I've seen more blah efforts than this with a lot of the same elements, so I'll take what I can get.

It has been a month since Spectre was released and the movie doesn't resonate at all. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is the movie that Spectre should have been. As I said a week or two ago, these two franchises have been mild rivals for 20 years, but for the first time, Tom Cruise & Co. completely destroyed the Bond series.

Yeah, there's no denying Rogue Nation killed it. And I wasn't even a big fan of Ghost Protocol. Anyway, if the next Bond movie follows the recent pattern (Casino Royale was awesome, QoS "meh", Skyfall -- awesome, Spectre - good enough), then it should be great.

the recent pattern (Casino Royale was awesome, QoS "meh", Skyfall -- awesome, Spectre - good enough) I see a completely different pattern. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace feel like one long movie split in two. And Skyfall and Spectre also feel like one long movie split in two. The next Daniel Craig movie will be completely different from the other four - especially if rumors are true that Guy Richie was afford the director's chair after the Bond producers saw The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

If that's true and Ritchie directs it like he did Man From U.N.C.L.E., then it's just gonna be "okay" at best.

Supposedly, he auditioned for Casino Royale but they turned him down because he was too young at the time. He was only 23 at the time. But dude's 32 now and will probably still be in his 30's when Daniel Craig leaves. I used to root for Michael Fassbender, but that ship probably sailed already.

He can't be James Bond and Superman. Sean Connery is James Bond and Indiana Jones' father.

Guy Richie shouldn't be directing Bond movies... or anything else. I sort-of agree with you. I liked Sherlock Holmes... and that's it. But he does have an interesting visual style that could work well in the James Bond series. That's what people saw in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. So, maybe, with the right script and the right restraint from the producers, he can pull off a James Bond movie. I mean... Martin Campbell doesn't exactly have a great resume outside of James Bond. So there is something about certain directs that just gels well with 007.

And so the new Bond re-imagining comes full circle with its inclusion of Spectre and Bond's nemesis Blofeld. And I quite enjoyed it. Spectre is a very solid entry into the 007 franchise. It offers a great villain, a great love interest, and a plot I was interested in following along with. The action scenes weren't overly spectacular, but they were still captivating, especially the fight in the helicopter near the beginning.
Daniel Craig as James Bond provides a real gravitas to the character, and you can sense there's some turmoil brewing beneath his cool exterior. I also really liked Lea Seydoux as the new Bond girl, and she held up as a character of her own. I also really liked Christoph Waltz in the bad guy role, menacing as ever.
There were a lot of little things I liked about Spectre, from the well-photographed shots of the various cityscapes, to the menacing atmosphere of the secret Spectre meeting, to the chilling death message left by the former M. I felt myself pulled into this movie a lot more than most 007 flicks, probably the most since Casino Royale.
The only issues I have are that the title song (and subsequent credit sequence) was absolutely horrendous. Also, Spectre is afflicted with the same problem almost all Bond films are afflicted with; its too bloody long! Had it been trimmed down to a nice 2 hours even, then we'd really be talking. 8/10

The car chase in Rome when Bond is being chased by the Silent Henchman(TM) but is talking to Moneypenny and making jokes over the phone, what a weird scene. That was a good thing. Car chases generally suck, so its nice when there's SOMETHING that makes them distinctive.

Radiohead have released their rejected SPECTRE theme. No surprises (pun alert) that it's a million times better than Sam Smith's insipid single. m.soundcloud.com/radiohead/spectre

On sale on Amazon for $12.99. Not worth it. It has like 3 special features, so unless that video journal is 10 hours long, the Blu-Ray ain't worth more than $5.
