The Newsroom: It's not quite as bad as some people make it out to be, but it isn't good. I think television may have passed Sorkin by and that he should stick to writing movies and having other filmmakers interpret his screenplays.

I quite enjoyed episode 1 of The Newsroom but I never watched any further episodes. I'll probably wait until it finishes then binge-watch it if the overall reception is really good.
Haven't seen the other two.

The Newsroom - Never seen doesn't Interest me
Once Upon a Time - Watched one episode and it was god awful 3/10
Person of Interest - Started good but I'm bored of it now it's the same every bloody week 6/10

Screw the haters, I LOVE this show. Aaron Sorkin's terrific writing is a big part of why -- and I couldn't care less about the political leanings of the show; it's all about the writing -- but the acting is also tremendous. The first season especially is awesome; probably one of the best seasons of any TV show I've ever seen. Can't wait for Season 3 to make its way to DVD.

Once Upon A Time
Not great television by any means, but it is still very entertaining and it's a lot of fun seeing so many Disney fairy tale characters interact with each other. And Robert Carlyle KILLS IT as Rumplestiltskin; hands down my favorite character on the show.

Person of Interest
One of the best shows currently on network TV. It takes the procedural format and breathes a lot of life into it while incorporating serialized storytelling that's smartly written, and a lot of the time even takes up focus of the show in a way that feels well-balanced. The acting is also excellent in an understated way. This show is almost too good for CBS.

Once Upon A Time
Fun at times, but really didn't go anywhere.
Person of Interest
Heard it got better in its second season but I couldn't get past the first few episodes.

I like the Newsroom.  I watched Once Upon a Time for a whole season I think. It...never got very good. Watched the first episode of Person of Interest. Didn't interest me. |

Never watched the newsroom.
Once upon a time seemed ok, but apparently not that interesting. It's been in my netflix queue for over a year.
I love person of interest. Working my way thru season 3 now. I like police type dramas, and this seems like a slightly different take on the genre.
