Actually I was gonna watch "The Brothers Bloom" only because Rian Johnson directed it and I've seen his other two films. I'm not excited for it, but the completionist in me wants to since he's doing the second Star Wars.

Wait till they announce what's disappearing from Netflix. That list is usually 15x longer.

I'm not a Mark Ruffalo person, is that wrong?

I'm not sure what to expect from The Brothers Bloom, but Mark Ruffalo is awesome.

I'm not sure what to expect from The Brothers Bloom. It's a comedy, but not as over-the-top as the trailers would have you believe. It's like The Sting, the Paul Newman and Robert Redford classic, but in an "indie movie" style.

I know what The Sting is. That's an enticing enough sell.

I thought it might be an issue having the wait feeling longer between seasons, what with every episode released at once, but I'm definitely liking the Netflix format better. I would much rather have it all available immediately, than having to wait weeks apart (and sometimes a big break mid-season). I view it kinda like watching a long movie, with only a year wait for its sequels.
You would think from a business standpoint, however, that spacing them out would be more logical and more likely to extend membership (like the case is here with Ian). But as some people have pointed out, binge-watching is something Netflix customers are so accustomed to, that the format makes sense, as long as they have different series being released throughout the year at different times.
I'll agree it does lose some of the fun of being able to discuss the shows in question, week to week, on what happened and what is going to happen. I think I can live with that, though.

One downside to binge watching though, is that you don't get so invested in the characters as you would watching it over years. I grew up watching Roseanne and for 9 years the Conners were part of our family. At the end it was depressing to see them go. Binge watching does not have that affect, it is more like watching a movie. You get into it but the emotions don't run as deep.
Maybe that is a good thing.

Depends upon the quality of what you are binge watching. I've gotten right into some shows that way

Depends upon the quality of what you are binge watching. I've gotten right into some shows that way Since I started binge watching I do not think I have had any show really get to me. I have enjoyed several shows but I think that if I had invested years into them, and not just weeks, that it might have had more of an impact.
